Brave Frontier is a new role playing game for the iOS and Android platforms. This is one of the most fully fleshed out RPGs for the mobile platforms that still keeps its mobile roots intact, with card battling elements present. Your goal is to go through a multitude of quests and challenges and use your summoner powers to battle against Maxwell, the rogue god, and save Great Gaia. Read on for some tips and tricks for Brave Frontier!
The same is generally true for the Vortex Gate dungeons, which are far more difficult to beat than the standard ones. Many others will have enemies of multiple elements, though; in this case, simply send in your most powerful teams. These Vortex Gate dungeons will earn you the best rewards, including the rarest units and the most Zel and Karma.
Save your Brave Burst attacks for the boss, if you are close to the boss battle. If you aren’t, then instead save them for the next battle after you earn them, especially if it’s a healing move (like the Phoenix uses) or an attack that hits every enemy at the same time.
Be sure to carry a stash of items at all times so that you can heal or recover from poison. Feed loads of karma to your Synthesis area so that you can synthesize better and better items. Attack and defense boosts are especially useful against tough bosses, while Revives will heal downed team members.
Use more later if you want, but use them in separate fusions, so that you don’t accidentally use more than you need. Never use them to fuse your common units, such as the various slimes that you earn in the early quests, though, as they can be fused to maximum levels fairly quickly simply using other common units.
Also, save your fuse-only units that are of a certain type (i.e. not the metal gods) so that you can use them in evolution later. When you want to evolve a character you’ll need these units to make it happen. You’ll also need to max-level the character that you want to evolve, and have enough Zel to do it. Rare character evolutions cost a LOT of Zel.
It’s easy to run out of Zel when you’re doing some heavy evolution. If you run out of energy, too, an easy way to earn more Zel is to go back to the Town area, go to your items page, then sell anything that you don’t need. You’ll collect TONS of synthesis items throughout battles, so if you don’t often synthesize, sell your crafting items in order to earn more Zel.
